The Australian Twin Registry (ATR) charges researchers for utilising the facility and its services. Services provided include, but are not limited to, the setting up of the recruitment phase of studies, roll-out and management of the participant recruitment process, participant follow-up for additional participation and/or feedback regarding participation. In addition, on request the ATR can provide services to assist in grant application, ethics applications, data management, analysis and interviewing.

These include an Application Fee and costs associated with study set-up, including but not limited to, working on collaborative study documents (Cover Letters, Information Sheets, Response & Consent Forms), and development of recruitment strategies.

- A minimum charge of $5000 applies per study utilising the ATR
- Costs are associated with the number of twin individuals approached, not number recruited to participate. (Note: On average 30% of twins approached to participate will agree to be part of a study, however this can vary depending on the targeted cohort, participation requirements and area of research.)
