The Australian Twin Registry is currently supported by an Enabling Grant (2004-2009) from the National Health and Medical Research Council which is administered by The University of Melbourne. This funding is allocated to staff salaries and core administration. To further its work facilitating health and scientific research projects, the Registry must seek alternative funding sources, in particular for targetted recruitment and public education projects.
