The ATR is looking for female twins (both identical and non identical) over the age of 30, to participate in a new study. Anyone can be a part of the study - you do not have to have had HPV or cervical cancer to participate. The study will access a participating twin's previous pap smear history and compare it to her twins history. ATR members Lee and Sharon Naylor might not look the same, but these Melbourne twins are identical in their support of a new study linked to cervical cancer. See link for article here .
A set of rare Persian leopard triplets were born in June and have now been presented to the public at the Budapest Zoo. As a special celebration, Twins and HOMs and their siblings who visit the Budapest Zoo together will be allowed in free of charge until December 31, 2007. See link for more details

The ATR and AMBA recently teamed up in an 'Identical Twins' eisode of Ready Steady Cook, set to air this Friday 18th May 2pm in capital cities (check local guide for other areas).
ATR members Kathy and Karen are paired with celebrity chefs Dominique Rizzo and George Columbaris to create some delicious culinary delights.
Kathy and Karen share their stories growing up with hilarious accounts of stealing clothes, sending each other on 'substitute dates' and confusing their relatives and teachers by swapping identities.
Congratulations go to Melissa Klemke and AMBA for coordinating and negotiating this fun event.
Multiple Birth Allowance Extended
Previously, eligible Higher Order Multiples (HOM) Families received the Multiple Birth Allowance until their triplets or more turned six years of age. The new Federal Budget now includes provision to extend the allowance to the same families until the child is sixteen, or 18 if the child is in full-time education. This change is effective from 1st July 2007. The success of this submission assists so many HOM families who are under great financial pressure, and in turn emotional and relationship pressure.
